Sublime in Southampton

Gut renovation on a beautiful Hamptons home. The old 2 1/4" floors were doing this house no justice, and did not emphasize the spectacular kitchen. We love the choice of the longer, narrow herringbone for this space; it is both classic and contemporary at the same time.  We removed all the old flooring, and installed all the new flooring on both levels.  We also removed all the old stair treads and replaced them with new solid White Oak RQ treads.  All work was performed with cabinetry in place, including in the kitchen, where we worked around the island as well as all the appliances.  The floors are now the lovely anchor of some seriously stellar interior design!
