Warm & Welcoming in Wading River

For this unique refinishing project the homeowner knew she wanted to use a penetrating oil like Rubio Monocoat. Penetrating oils are pushed down into the wood instead of sitting on top, strengthening it from the inside out; and there is no polyurethane that is used as a top coat. After trying several different colors, it was decided to embrace the natural beauty of the Red Oak, going with the color Pure. We topped it off with the new Rubio Sheen plus for a more of a satin sheen in the final appearance.  We love how this Red Oak looks with the penetrating oil, and it feels even better underfoot!
